Amaco PC- Honey Flux is a creamy glaze that increases fluidity when layered over other glazes. At lower temperatures in the Cone 5 range, it appears more opaque, with a honey-to-cream colored expression. At higher temperatures, around Cone 6, the glaze becomes more fluid and develops a lighter white finish with honey-colored specks.
The expression may vary with application, layer thickness, clay type, and firing, among other factors. For best results, it is recommended to test the glaze on test pieces before using it on finished work, especially when layering or using new batches.
