Mayco SW- Rose Quartz provides an opaque pink finish with small, opalescent crystals that settle visibly on the surface. At higher firing temperatures, the color can lighten to a soft pink hue, while more crystals become more distinctly visible, adding more life to the glaze. The glaze has good fluidity and can move on vertical surfaces.
The glazes are developed for stoneware and can be used within the temperature range of 1200–1300 °C. The final result is influenced by factors such as clay type, application, number of layers, and firing program. For best results, it is recommended to test the glazes on test pieces before use on finished works. Follow the manufacturer's instructions for firing and temperature.
