Mayco SW-131 Birch gives a beige-grey surface when fired at around 1240\u00b0C. At higher temperatures, especially in reduction firing, the glaze can develop a more creamy white expression with brown accents that are highlighted in the texture.
\nThe glaze has been developed for stoneware firing within a temperature range of approx. 1200-1300 \u00b0C, and can be used in both oxidation and reduction. Stir the glaze well before use and apply several even layers to raw fired objects. The end result is affected by clay type, application and firing program.
