Mayco SW- Opal Luster, when fired at around 1240°C, provides a glossy surface with an interplay of green, gray, and pink tones. In texture, the glaze breaks and can develop brown and orange variations, adding life and depth to the expression.
Depending on how the glaze is fired, the colors can change character. When firing with reduced oxygen, the appearance can lean more towards blue, while yellow hues can emerge on the surface.
The final result will vary depending on clay type, application, layer thickness, and firing. It is recommended to test the glaze on test pieces before use on finished works. Follow the manufacturer's instructions for firing and temperature.
Follow the manufacturer's instructions and use normal precautions when handling glazes.
