Mayco SW- Sandstone, when fired around 1240 °C, results in a creamy beige appearance with brown crystals that add life and texture to the surface. When the firing temperature is increased, the color becomes lighter and gains a more open and airy feel.
The glaze is developed for stoneware and can be used within the temperature range 1200-1300 °C. The end result will vary depending on the type of clay, application, number of layers and firing program. For best results, it is recommended to test the glaze on test pieces before use on finished pieces. Follow the manufacturer's instructions for firing and temperature.
