Mayco SW-146 Aurora Green, when fired at around 1240°C, gives a look reminiscent of ocean colors, with hints of beige and darker tones. At higher temperatures, the blue color becomes more prominent, while at the same time soft pinkish-beige shades can appear and give extra depth to the surface.
The glaze is developed for stoneware and can be used within the temperature range 1200-1300 °C. The end result will vary depending on the type of clay, application, number of layers and firing program. For best results, it is recommended to test the glaze on test pieces before use on finished pieces. Follow the manufacturer's instructions for firing and temperature.
Follow the manufacturer's instructions and use normal precautions when handling glazes.
